Galaxy Starship 7 EV vs EM-i: Compare the Energy System Before the Trim

Starship 7 comes in battery-electric and plug-in hybrid versions. Compare their battery references, charging routine and exact factory grades before requesting an export quotation.

Two matrices, two energy arrangements

The EV matrix lists 525 and 605 electric-range references with 60.22 and 68.39 kWh batteries. The petrol EM-i configurations covered here are 130 Qihang and 135 Zhihang or Linghang with a standard 19.09 kWh battery. Those names describe different energy arrangements. Compare EV with EV and electric-only PHEV distance with electric-only distance; adding petrol changes the basis of a journey comparison.

Choose around a recurring week

Write down the ordinary daily route, where charging can happen and the longest trip repeated each month. For a BEV, investigate the charging stops actually available on those routes. For the EM-i, consider regular charging together with engine servicing and fuel use. A shorter electric-range reference can still cover an ordinary routine, but that conclusion needs your own distances and charging access rather than a family advertisement.

Keep methanol and battery options out of the petrol column

The EM-i table includes a separate methanol Chunjing designation. Do not accept that column as a petrol EM-i substitute. A larger optional battery package also needs an explicit order description; it cannot be silently included in the standard 19.09 kWh quotation. Ask the supplier to highlight the offered column and any options instead of sending an unmarked full brochure.

Plus and assistance grades are separate choices

An EV 605 offer is incomplete without its Long Range or Long Range Plus equipment designation. Similarly, the EM-i Qihang, Zhihang and Linghang grades are not established by the battery figure alone. Compare parking hardware, cabin functions, wheels and chassis equipment against a marked list. Request a demonstration of important delivered functions; China software headlines do not establish overseas availability.

Turn the comparison into an order

Start with the complete factory designation, then record the battery, drive, seat layout and equipment you require. Ask for an itemized quotation with the vehicle allocation basis, selected options, inspection and shipment scope. A family image illustrates the model; it does not show available stock or prove the exact trim. When a VIN is allocated, compare its vehicle record and inspection findings with the accepted specification.

To turn this comparison into an acceptance record, use the customs clearance and vehicle approval checklist. Have the destination assess the actual vehicle specification and approval route separately from customs release before scheduling road use.
