Refrigerated Light Truck – Procurement Brief

Food, fresh produce or other temperature-controlled distribution requiring a light-truck body and cooling system. State product temperature, ambient conditions, stops, door openings and daily duty before sizing the package.

01Define the operation

Name the medium or cargo, daily duty and loading or service locations.

02Engineer the package

Match the chassis, body, working system, useful capacity and axle loading.

03Agree acceptance

Specify functional evidence, documents, training and system-specific support.

Choose the version for your duty

A refrigerated truck is a chassis, insulated body and cooling-unit combination. Confirm whether the duty maintains pre-cooled cargo or includes pull-down. Food and pharmaceutical transport requirements should be defined separately for the destination and product.

Configuration and quotation schedule

Selection item Reference / confirmation required
Cargo and temperature Product, loading temperature, required range, ambient conditions and door duty
Body and cooling match Usable internal dimensions, insulation, airflow, unit duty and standby power if needed
Acceptance test Agreed test conditions, measurement points, temperature record and support scope
Written offer Exact model/version, included options, equipment makers and excluded items
Delivery scope Destination port, quantity, packing/shipping method and trade term; dates confirmed for the order

Factory LHD / RHD and complete equipment

Auto From China accepts new-vehicle LHD and RHD enquiries through its relationships with vehicle manufacturers. The exact factory chassis, export build and destination documents are confirmed for the project. Body and working equipment are selected separately and recorded with their interfaces, controls and service responsibilities.

Inspection and handover

Evidence before dispatch

Review insulated-body dimensions/materials, door seals, drainage and cargo airflow with the equipment supplier. Agree a representative temperature test with stated ambient/load/door conditions and recording evidence.

Parts, manuals and support

Identify cooling-unit filters, belts and service requirements, body door/seal items and the temperature recorder. Define responsibility for chassis, body and refrigeration support and any standby power connection.

Delivery records

Agree the inspection record and supplied configuration before release. Identify package quantities, loose components, manuals and included tools. State the warranty provider and its service procedure in the quotation, together with the responsibilities for arrival checks and assembly where applicable.

Questions before ordering

What distinguishes the version being quoted?

A refrigerated truck is a chassis, insulated body and cooling-unit combination. Confirm whether the duty maintains pre-cooled cargo or includes pull-down. Food and pharmaceutical transport requirements should be defined separately for the destination and product.

What should the acceptance record include?

Review insulated-body dimensions/materials, door seals, drainage and cargo airflow with the equipment supplier. Agree a representative temperature test with stated ambient/load/door conditions and recording evidence.

What determines price and delivery?

The full factory version, body or attachments, destination, quantity, trade term and agreed service scope determine the offer. Request these items on one configuration schedule; price, availability and production/shipping dates are confirmed for the specific order.
