Comparing China Car Configuration Sheets: Model Year, Revision and Fuel Type

A configuration comparison is only reliable when its columns describe the same model generation and energy system. Keep dated source references with each offered grade.
Check identity before reading the equipment ticks
Start with manufacturer, full model, body, model year where stated and energy type. Seal 06 sedan, GT and wagon have different matrices; Starship 7 EV and EM-i require separate tables. A supplier’s screenshot with the heading cropped away cannot establish which vehicle the equipment rows describe. Request the full source or a clearly identified marked sheet.
Preserve the revision and its notes
Record when the manufacturer reference was checked and retain its relevant qualifications. Product pages can change as versions and promotional offers change. A later table may be appropriate for a later production allocation, but it should not be treated as proof that an earlier car received the same equipment. Compare the offered vehicle’s factory record with the accepted version.
Read optional and grouped equipment literally
A circle, dash or filled marker can have a table-specific meaning. Read that table’s legend instead of assuming all manufacturers use identical symbols. Some options are supplied through packages rather than individually. Ask which package includes the requested feature, and keep promotional gifts separate from standard equipment. An unmarked brochure leaves these distinctions unresolved.
Maintain a small source trail for the decision
Keep the source URL, date checked, offered column, selected options and outstanding questions with the quotation. When a revised allocation is proposed, use the same fields to explain the difference. This makes the comparison understandable to another buyer or inspector without requiring them to interpret a stack of unrelated screenshots. It also avoids silently mixing a newer battery headline into an older configuration.
Turn the comparison into an order
Start with the complete factory designation, then record the battery, drive, seat layout and equipment you require. Ask for an itemized quotation with the vehicle allocation basis, selected options, inspection and shipment scope. A family image illustrates the model; it does not show available stock or prove the exact trim. When a VIN is allocated, compare its vehicle record and inspection findings with the accepted specification.
Compare A7 EM 150 reference; Separate A7 EV matrix; Petrol Starship 7 EM-i. Send an enquiry with your destination country and port, quantity and preferred colours. Agree the inspection scope before shipment.

To turn this comparison into an acceptance record, use the customs clearance and vehicle approval checklist. Have the destination assess the actual vehicle specification and approval route separately from customs release before scheduling road use.
