China, October 4, 2026. IM Motors launched the all-new LS6 on September 23, with three battery-electric versions priced from RMB 197,900 to RMB 259,900 after launch benefits. Deliveries began at launch. These are China-market promotional prices, not export quotations.
What changed for the LS6?
This LS6 is a fresh electric model in IM’s NEXT·2028 range. It has steer-by-wire and four-wheel steering across the line-up, plus the new 800V NEO electrical architecture. IM quotes a 4.49 m turning radius, a useful figure for a nearly five-metre family SUV. The Max and Pro Max are rear-wheel drive; the Ultra adds vector all-wheel drive and is the quick one, with a claimed 3.48-second 0–100 km/h time.
The longest-range version is the middle Pro Max, not the top Ultra. Its 93 kWh battery carries a 782 km CLTC rating. The Max uses a 76 kWh pack for 650 km, while the 103 kWh Ultra is rated at 750 km. IM cites up to 396 kW peak DC charging and up to 500 km of rated range added in 15 minutes under suitable conditions. Charging speed and real-world range will vary with the battery, charger and weather.
A cabin aimed at family trips
IM has made comfort a larger part of the pitch. The driver gets a 4D mechanical massage seat; the front passenger seat has multiple reclining modes, and the rear backrests can recline to 131 degrees. B&O audio and an 11-litre cooled compartment are also listed in the launch equipment. The car measures 4,937 mm long, 1,988 mm wide and 1,671 mm high, with a 2,960 mm wheelbase.

CLTC is China’s laboratory range cycle. Launch benefits may change, and the exact trim, charging hardware and equipment should be checked against the vehicle you order. This new pure-electric LS6 should also be distinguished from the earlier LS6 range-extender line.
