Select the implement and tractor as a working combination. Disc count and engine horsepower are useful reference items, but they do not replace the soil, depth, linkage, lifting and stability checks for the actual field task.
Describe soil, residue, depth and the working window.
Request the exact plough and linkage specification.
Review power, lift, tyres, ballast and transport.
Define the field result and distinguish the implement
Name the operation, crop rotation, soil type, moisture conditions, residue and any stones or obstructions. Give the desired working depth and width, field sizes and the number of days available. Include whether the task is primary tillage or another soil-preparation operation. A request for “disc equipment” can otherwise be interpreted in different ways.
A disc plough and a disc harrow should have their own model and work specification. YTO’s implement reference lists them separately, with different dimensions, power ranges and attachment arrangements. Use the exact implement section and model in the quotation; do not combine data from the two tables.
Compare the published width and power on a model basis
Request the complete implement code, disc count and diameter, working width/depth, mass, frame and linkage information. Ask which data describe the standard implement and which are options. A supplier should identify the version being offered instead of quoting the broadest power range from the whole series.
For example, the linked YTO reference lists 1LYT-225 at 50 cm ploughing width and 35–50 hp matched power, and 1LYT-325 at 75 cm and 60–80 hp. These are specific published references, not a confirmation that either implement suits a particular farm or our proposed tractor. Field conditions and the complete combination still need review.
Check the hitch, lift conditions and clearance
Provide the tractor’s hitch category and dimensions and request the implement’s connection drawing. Confirm pin sizes, linkage geometry, required movement and transport clearances. Include any hydraulic adjustment or reversal functions, hoses and couplers that are part of the proposed package.
Use the tractor’s lift-capacity measuring point and conditions together with the actual implement mass and centre of gravity. Ask the manufacturers to review the proposed combination, including transport position, tyre equipment and ballast requirements. A single lift number does not settle the geometry or stability question.
Plan capacity around the available working time
State the area to finish and the likely working window. Ask for a field assessment of the proposed width, depth and working conditions. Field shape, headlands, turning, refuelling and adjustments affect the productive time; simply multiplying width by advertised maximum vehicle speed creates an unrealistic comparison.
Use an explicitly assumed planning scenario when comparing widths, then confirm feasible speed and field efficiency with the supplier or local operator. If the wider implement introduces power, traction or lifting concerns, compare the complete operating proposal rather than assuming that it will finish proportionally faster.
Include wear parts and delivery preparation
Request part identification for discs, bearings, scrapers, pins and other applicable wear items on the exact offered implement. Ask the supplier to propose an initial parts package around annual use and local replenishment lead time. Keep consumables and optional accessories as separate quotation lines.
Confirm assembled and shipping dimensions, dismantled items, packing, arrival assembly and manuals. For a tractor-and-plough order, identify both machines and the included connecting hardware. Machinery selection uses operator layout, hitch, PTO and hydraulics where applicable; passenger-car LHD/RHD fields are not an implement specification.

LOVOL M754 Utility Tractor
Review the identified 75 hp manufacturer reference, PTO, linkage and hydraulic version before specifying an implement package.
Questions buyers ask
Does matching horsepower prove a disc plough will work?
No. Soil, working depth and width, implement mass and geometry, traction and the tractor’s linkage capacity must be reviewed together for the actual combination.
Which tractor interfaces should I send?
Identify the tractor version, hitch category and dimensions, hydraulic connections and any PTO requirement. Include lift-rating measurement position and the implement’s mass and centre-of-gravity information.
Why ask about soil condition?
Soil texture, moisture, stones, roots and previous cultivation change the working duty. Describe representative and difficult conditions so the manufacturer can review width and operating depth.
Can an archived implement table be used as the final order?
Use a published table as a reference for questions. The quotation must identify the actual implement model, supplied dimensions, discs, bearings, adjustment and tractor compatibility.
What should a proposed ballast package include?
Request manufacturer guidance for the specific mounted implement, including permitted ballast, axle and tyre limits and operating instructions. Do not use a generic weight percentage as an acceptance rule.
What evidence should close the matching review?
Ask for an identified tractor-and-implement schedule, interface drawings or measurements, operating limits, adjustment instructions and the agreed demonstration or acceptance scope.
Send the destination, quantity and the operating details above. We will review the identified manufacturer version and quotation scope.
